Isabel Verwee is a voluntary collaborator at the CRiS research group.
Her main research interests are the relation between the public and the police, expectations and images of the police, the role of the police in today’s society, daily police work, legitimacy, measuring public perceptions, security feelings, qualitative research…
Theoretically, this has led to several contributions on the role of the police in today’s society and the importance of public opinion.
Her empirical work focuses on measuring public perceptions (and expectations, images…) of the police by means of qualitative research.
