Katrien De Koster is a part-time professor in the department of Criminology.
Amongst her interests are the application of a social constructionist paradigm in human sciences and qualitative research in general, and discourse analysis in particular (both in the domains of organisational change processes and in personal life-stories).
She has been studying youth care and policy participation processes.
Her current research focuses on forensic social work and policy. She also works as an external psychotherapist in Brussels’ prisons.
